다이론 다이곤 DYGON colour & stain remover 사용하기

- 다이론에서 나오는 염색과 얼룩제거제
- 헤어컬러 원하는 색으로 만들기 위해 머리 탈색하는 과정과 비슷한 제품인 것 같음. 원하는 색으로의 옷 염색을 위해 원래 옷이나 옷감의 색상을 제거하는 과정.
- 이 제품 검색해도 안 나오는데 단종된 거 같음.
- 내가 찾은 곳은 동네 알파문구, 몇 년 동안 묵혀있었던건지 모를 상태의 제품을 발견.
- 이건 뭐지? 하고 호기심에 한 번 구입해서 누렇게 변한 것 같은 흰색 옷을 좀 더 하얗게 만들려고 했었는데 그때는 흰색옷이라 이게 효과가 있는건지 뭔지 잘 몰랐었음. 설명서도 오래되어서 그런지 마구 부서져서 대충 감으로 처리했는데 지금 보니 처리도 그다지 제대로 했었던 것 같지 않음.
- 핫핑크 염색으로 원피스를 망치고나서 이 제품이 생각나서 동네 알파문구 갔더니 역시나 아직 남아있었음.

이번에 사온 제품은 다행히도 설명서가 부서지지 않아 어떻게 사용하는지 읽어보고 사용할 수 있었음. (나 새끼 사용하기 전에는 대충 읽었음.)

Removens colour before dyeing

Dylon DYGON prepares fabrics for dyeing by removing colour, returning the fabric to a neutral shade.
Its chlorine free fomula is harmless to fabrics. Some colours such as bright greens and blues, royal blues, turquoises and indigo (denim) may not be suitable for treatment. If in doubt, first test a small sample from hem or seam.

Which Fabrics?
DYGON is suitable for all natural fabrics and nylon. It is not recommended for polyesters, actate, acrylics, or fabrics with special finishes.

How much to use?
One tin is sufficient to remove colour from up to 250g of dry weight fabric.
The more colour you remove, the closer you will get when dyeing to the colour on the dye pack.

IMPORTANT:
Always use DYGON in a well ventilated area and avoid inhalation. Store in a cool, dry place, out of reach of children.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Wear rubber gloves.
1. Remove any metal parts from article and weigh.
2. Soak article in warm water.
3. Fill a flame and rustproof vessel with very hot water.
4. Dissolve DYGON in 500ml warm water and add to vessel.
5. Add articles to the vessel and immerse completely.
6. Bring to boil and simmer, stirring constantly. Continue until colour removal is complete, or for 30 mins, whichever is sooner.
7. Rinse well. Hot wash article with detergent. Rinse again thoroughly.
The arcticle is now ready for dyeing.

Wool & Silk
1, Handle gently. Start with lukewarm water only.
2. Do not boil - bring to simmer only and maintain for 20 minutes, stirring constantly; then turn off heat. Allow to cool for 10 minutes.
3. Remove article from vessel and allow to cool before rinsing in warm water. Wash by normal method and rinse thoroughly.

HARMFUL
DYLON PRE-DYE contains Sodium Hydrosulphite May cause fire. Harmful if swallowed. Irritating to eyes. Keep out of reach of children. Do not breathe dust. In case of fire use water.
In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of water. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show this container or label. Do not mix with acids or other household chemicals.

- 지난번에 내가 산 다이곤은 설명서 종이가 부서져서 이 설명을 못 보고 대충 작업했었다.
- 아직도 우리 동네처럼 오프라인에서는 판매하는 곳이 있고, 나처럼 호기심에 사본 사람이, 나처럼 설명서를 보지 못하고 작업할까봐 열심히 타이핑했다.
- 꽤 위험한 물질인 것 같음. 나도 오늘 작업하면서 마스크 안 끼고 장갑만 끼었는데 뜨거운 물로 작업하다보니 얼굴에 뭔가 묻은 느낌이라 세수 여러번 했다. 목이랑 코도 좀 뭔가 평상시랑 다른 것 같고. 효과 좋다고 함부로 쓸 물건은 아닌듯.
- 타이핑하면서 설명서 제대로 읽어보니 나 좀 무모하게 사용했네.

- 오늘 탈색 엄청 잘되네 하고 감탄해서 다음에도 보이면 사야겠다 싶었는데 함부로 쓸 물건은 아닌듯. 탈색이 성공적이어서 알파문구에 다시 가서 마지막 하나 남았던 다이곤 사왔는데...

- 나는 설명서대로 하진 않았음. 불에 얹어 끓이고 휘젖고 그렇게까지 할 생각은 없고 그럴 도구도 집에 없음.
- 역시나 염색처럼 김장용 비닐봉투를 이용해 전기주전자로 뜨거운 물 넣어서 작업함.
- 그래도 꽤나 효과가 좋았는데 뜨거운 물에서 약품이 반응한다고 하니 뜨거운 상태일 때 열심히 옷감을 뒤적여줘야 함.
- 물색깔이 누렇게 되어서 이게 염색이 빠지는 거야 싶은데 빠지는 거임. 누렇게 될 때 열심히 옷감을 뒤집으면 10분 이내로 웬만큼 색상은 빠지는 것 같음. 탈색을 어디까지 원하느냐에 따라 다르겠지만.
